AIR POLLUTION AND ASTHMA - FATIMA MUHAMMAD SANI

AIR POLLUTION AND ASTHMA
Air pollution is any visible or invisible particle or gas found in the air that is not part of the natural composition of the air. Some of the particles are;carbon dioxide, sulphur oxides, nitrogen oxides, volatile organic compounds, toxic metals ammonia, odors, radioactive substances, ground level ozone,dust,smoke.e.t.c.it comes from many different sources ,some are man made and some are naturally occurring.some of the natural sources are;dust from large areas of land with little or no vegetation, radon gas from radioactive decay within the earth crust, smoke and carbon monoxide from wildfires, volcanic activities and some of the man made sources are;smoke stacks of power plants, furnaces and other fuel-burning heating devices, wood, drop waste ,dung, smoke from vehicles, fumes from paint, hair spray, varnish and other solvents, waste deposition in landfills which generate methane, military resources such as nuclear weapons, toxic gas, burning of diets in a population filled area, grilling of food in an open area by the street. All these cause air pollution which triggers asthma symptoms or an asthma attack if one has the condition, leading to increase in pain and suffering of asthmatic patients,it has high effects because it leads to breathing difficulties and sometimes cessation of breath for a minute or two for the patients, just imagine the pain they go through and what their families go through each day they're exposed to air pollutants especially those with severe asthma;it's a pain that the mind can't think of and the heart can't take. It's clear that we can't prevent or stop the natural causes, but at least we can prevent or reduce the man made causes with all that we can, in order to help the asthmatic patients control their illness and also many respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and to reduce the cases of mortality caused by air pollution.we should stop dirt burning within the community, stop littering our environment and for those that grill food such as meat in an open place should please find a covered place to do so,though it's also a great problem, but it'll reduce the causes of out door air pollution. And for the asthmatics, you should try all your best to prevent all what triggers your illness, provide public awareness about  the effects of air pollution and use face mask,it protects the inhalation of air pollutants, prevent indoor air pollution and also use your medications well, especially your preventers and by that, there'll be a decrease in the rate of asthmatic attacks and death.

Break - Fatima Muhammad Sani

Today's Tuesday,a new day and we're back to school after a short Easter break. I woke up without the joy of wanting to go to school as I always do. I was not feeling fine, having a little dyspnea, and I had to dress up early for school because my sister had a morning lecture and I had to go to the bank to pay my school fees coux we had issues about our registration. It was stressful and great coux it was the first day that I paid my school fees by myself, which indicates that am now an adult and we had only physiology lecture, luckily we didn't receive a surprised test ,and I got the chance to read my notes after a long time without opening them coux I felt motivated during the holiday. I slept to relieved and after that I chatted with my bestie who ended up cracking an joke about being ill which nearly gave me CHF,it was'nt funny at all and some of my friends,I shared some things and laughed. In summary, today was okay.

*BackFromBreak*; this should be fun.

(TUESDAY ): We know how the 1st day of resumption can be stressful and full of activities and we would love to hear from you in writing how it all went down. Works are to be received with the hash tag #BACKTOSCHOOL

Encounter#
Monday might be stressful but not like this last one.
Haven finished with exams, I started at home with my Sis.
And then we went to madrasah together by 4:00pm.
We came back and enjoyed a merry chitchat with the family.
Maybe no encounter. No stressful Monday.
Pressing phone almost all day

#BACKTOSCHOOL
So today was kinda good to me. Being Tuesday, I had no morning lectures. It was an advantage because I slept late. So morning, I slept like a baby 😂
I woke up by 9am brushed and took my bath. Then thoughts of what to eat came flooding I was almost crying as I remembered that just 24hours ago I was served breakfast like a princess. After deliberating, thinking and redeliberating I finally settled for Noodles🍜 and fried eggs with a cup of SHAYI☕as usual.
I'm a slow eater so I took 45 minutes to clear the plates.
I hurriedly dressed up, did some finishing touches to my face and clothes😉. And while saying my Azkar I stepped out to do what we do(BOKO)

*TRUE LOVE IN IT'S HUMAN FORM* FATIMA MUHAMMAD SANI*

*TRUE LOVE IN IT'S HUMAN FORM*

 _Call it love and devotion,
Call it a Mum's adoration,
A special bond of creation,
Thy strong foundation,

So strong like a rock,
So goodly like a star forsooth.
The world with her strength, she rocks
24/7,she tirelessly works
A heroine without a cape,
Created with extraordinary super powers.

True love in it's human form,
She does more than she can doth,
Because she wants a wonderful life for her babies,
She gives them all her love,
Nobody matters like them.

Holds everything together like a glue,
With a soul so cool, deop and blue,
A queen without a crown,
A goddess in her children's eye,
Always a life saver.

Facing the hard life without a fear,
Well preparedth for any obstacle that blocks her way,
She's always there for thee during rain and shine,
The first person that believes in thee,
Thy doctor, friend and bank for thy worries and tears,
Thy problem solver, with a magical hug that heals everything .

The truest person to thee, who tells thee when you're doing good or bad.
Her goal is always to make thee smile no matter what,
'Sacrifice' is what she's compassed with,
For thou, she sacrifices her life, youth, wynn and more.
One with the sweetest name ever,
Which means millions of words,
MOTHER,she's called.

DEDICATED TO ALL MOTHERS,MAY GOD BLESS THEM WITH HIS INFINITE MERCY._

POEM - POOR NIGERIAN CHILD - MARYAM SALMAN

Dilapidated buildings and inadequate health facilities.
Insufficient health workers and poor working conditions
Why?
Nigeria Why? Nigerians Why?
Is it a crime to be poor?
They didn't ask to be poor, it's just circumstances.

They chose people to represent them.
But then, they exist no more to these people.
They're suffering in silence
Nobody hears them.
Children are sick and dying;
Malnutrition, diarrhoea, they battle with everyday.
Malaria seems to be a neighbour.

Their welfare has being abandoned.
Their plight, the government doesn't know of
They conceal their agony
and suffer in silence feeling abandoned.
Be their voice!

A herbal nourishing drink of the average Hausa man

My black Shayi scented with ginger and cloves
My Companion in all weather conditions
I love my Shayi☕
Black and too hot for you

My life - MAJ

I'm frightened of what's to come,
For life seems not to abscond,
As my fantasy grows narrower,
The enthusiasm fades like the trade,
The more I saw the less it becomes,
It curls but of difficulty,
Sometimes I feel like to deter,
But of what use is life without hurdles?
Even in our fantasies we like mysteries,
The higher I go the steeper it becomes,
Just like a rope curled into a corn,
It's difficult to make but beautiful to site.

My life
