BREATHLESS LUNGS
Bronchioles became constricted
Oxygen inhalation restricted
Hunger for air
Wheezing is all you hear
Being breathless is the fear
Crying daily till the last drop of tear disappear
Pain due to hypoxia
Loss of weight because of anorexia
Skin,all reddish-blue
Calmness and peace flew
Lungs tightened without a clue
Still holding onto hope
But slippery is the rope
The Pain can't be moped
Of all pains,it's on top
Worst than you can cope
Prisoned by the mask
All emotions, pains and tears trapped by the mask
Though it helps in completing the task
The nightmare is formalin
At the wall,is where she leans
All she thinks is healing
All she lives is a nightmare
Instead of a dream, she sees nightmare
Always struggling for oxygen
Pain inherited by her gene
Hell in it's living form
Blazing fire is all the heart gets
Burning all the love it gates
Without oxygen,she's a struggler
For healing,she's a prayer
Because of her dreams, she's a fighter
To relief the pain, she's an encourager
A life without coughs she dreams
Breathing easily,she dreams
To help those like her,she hopes
That's why she still holds the rope
With the hope that she'll make it someday

POEM - SHATTERED GLASSES, WITHERED FLOWERS - MARYAM SALMAN
*SHATTERED GLASSES, WITHERED FLOWERS*
Our friendship!
Once as fresh as ripe grapes
Once as peaceful as a flowing spring.
Admired by all,
From far and near.
Our friendship!
Once, our connection was deep.
Once, the bond was strong,
And the love almost eternal.
The feelings, we mutually shared.
Our friendship!
Once as harmonized as a mirror,
Once as beautiful as a blooming flower.
Like siblings, we loved and cared,
Like twins, we shared our secrets.
But alas,
The connection seized.
The bond dissolved and it all collapsed
As our friendship became shattered;
Like broken glasses and withered flowers.

POETRY TALENT - FATIMA SUMDA
The sun sets with a bewitching crimson glow
A thousand smiles,ten thousand tears.
The burdens of the day take their tow,
Buried are many dreams, many fears.
The night promises of a glorious dawn
Another sunrise. Another chance.
A new albeit weak flame of hope is born.
Heartbeats give rhythm to the soul's dance

POETRY TALENT - Her moon and stars - FATIMA SUMDA
Her moon and stars
Once upon a moon
With a thousand stars adorning her glam
Up high in a dark sky
She glared
Indeed the saga of the moon and stars
It was all she had
She was born in an era of doom
But never did she ever forsaked to bloom
She discovered her strength in the aura of the night
After all, it was all she had
Staring deep into the eyes of the stars
She knew her dreams was fire
Dancing around the full moon
Her joy was never to perish
It was all she had
Her moon and stars
She's the moons woman
Queen of flowery stars
In all her existence
Her moon and stars
Was all she had

POEM - Behind that prescription- Zainab M Musa
...Behind that prescription
It seems to be below your expectations,
Lo! It is beyond all your assumptions,
It is neither a secret code,
Nor a sealed communic ation mode,
It is a skill acquired by determination,
A sacrifice made for passion.
It does not look poor by intention,
And not by the doctor's discretion.
It must not be calligraphic,
For it to be authentic.
It should just be comprehending,
To the pharmacist in charge of dispensing.
Never see it as an ill looking manuscript,
What matters is the content of the script.
For behind that prescription,
Is a silent wish for your speedy recuperation.

POEM - The Awaited Lass - A.M TOYYIB
The Awaited Lass
By Abdulganeey Muhammed Toyyib©2017
I don’t know whether you are on earth yet,
But I know you will arise from an egg,
Where you will be selected among millions,
Awaiting a headed-tail to kiss you.
How we will meet,
Where we will meet,
When we will meet,
I am not aware of it yet.
But I know we will surely meet.
I don’t know your melanin score,
Whether you are fair or black,
But I know you will have one
That will express your ultimate beauty.

POEM - FREEZING HEART - FATIMA MUHAMMAD SANI
FREEZING HEART
Heart discovered it's freezing
By snow that is existing
Extinction it's pretending
Angels like demons are rising
Emotions as soldiers are fighting
Battling with the soul as it's suffering
Pain has been reborn
After it's twin was born
Burnt in a place unknown
By a mother that was abandoned
Caged by a father yet to be known
The heart has been solidified
After it was liquified
A valued being acidified
Trusted those that electrified
With strength certified
Unknown it has broken
With ice it became frozen
Pieces distributed in dozens
Unwanted was proven
